Mission
Our mission is to enrich and educate students with Islamic values while providing learning experiences that are developmentally age appropriate (preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary). We promote the growth of the whole child including academics, social skills, and emotional growth.
It is our goal to help students foster a positive identity as an American Muslim. We empower our students with the skills necessary to succeed in tomorrow's world by integrating academics, Quranic wisdom, and ethical behavior. We believe the combination of these fundamentals in each classroom will make a positive contribution to the global community.

In September 2000, Al-Ridah Academy opened its doors to the Orange County Islamic Foundation (OCIF) community. With only twelve students, one Administrator, and two teachers, Al-Ridah began its early years of formal Islamic education. Today, Al-Ridah has grown into a student body of seventy-five, a parent population of one-hundred and twelve, twelve teachers, two Assistants, two Administrators, and a growing community of Muslims in Mission Viejo and its surrounding area.

Facility
The charm of Al-Ridah Academy extends far beyond the warm embrace of its teachers; it is evident in the unity of the building as a whole. Parents and students congregate each weekday morning to recite Surat Al Fatiha and offer a special dua in the main assembly room. Announcements keep the close knit community briefed on what exciting events are coming to the school. Students share their Islamic education openly in front of fellow students.
Students' days are infused with Language Arts, English and Arabic, Mathematics, Science, History, Social Studies, Physical Education, and Quranic studies. Each school day ends with an opportunity for students to choose the after school activities that appeal to their natural talents. Whether it is Art or Spanish class, students expand their horizons every day at Al-Ridah Academy.
